Our Story
Solévie was born from legacy and a lifelong belief that beauty should never come at the cost of health.
For our founder, clean skincare wasn’t a trend — it was part of her earliest memories. As a baby, her abuela would massage her skin with handmade blends of natural oils. Growing up in Canada her mother carried on the tradition, creating herbal salves and balms using trusted ingredients from local health food stores and organic groceries. High-quality, natural skincare wasn’t a luxury — it was a birthright.
At fifteen, while working in a high-end skincare store, she helped a woman who had just beaten breast cancer choose a body butter to celebrate her healing. She offered her a pink one that had been created for breast cancer awareness. But after reading the label, the woman paused and gently explained that it contained parabens and hormone disruptors — ingredients she could no longer risk putting on her skin. That moment landed deeply. How could something that claimed to honor women’s healing include ingredients that might harm them?
Years later, after immersing herself in ingredient research and formulation practices, she set out to create what she couldn’t find: skincare that is uncompromisingly clean yet undeniably luxurious. Products rooted in generational wisdom, elevated with modern efficacy, crafted with integrity, and designed to make skin feel as radiant as it looks.
